I think it is an original with original insignias never removed.

A genuine specimen with factory sewn collar and breast insignia original to it, no doubt. The pocket repairs indicate a moderate wear which add some flavor.

The EKII ribbon attached with safety pins was "period applied"? Or is put there for the photos?
