Tropical shoulder board

what are your opinions about this tropical shoulder board with EMF paper ribbon ? Are they original?

I don't think the paper band came with the shoulder straps. If the tress was added at the manufacturer, they would have had the proper foot on the sewing machine and done a much better job of sewing the aluminum braid.

They are not trying Tim, these are Luftwaffe straps. Are the straps genuine WWII or not, this is the question. Their construction is excellent and I see details I like, but am not totally convinced either. That the button holes are stretched open from apparent use does call into doubt the paper band.
