Panzer Grouping for Review

Hello everyone! Just got this group of panzer items for review. I also wanted to ask if the yellow piped tab is for recon or signal troops? Thanks in advance

As Mike has said, the "yellow" piped skull tab is Panzer-Signals.
I refer to Signals yellow as "Lemon Yellow".
The other "yellow" is Golden yellow, for certain recon units in panzer divisions.

FYI, the signals skull tab is much rarer than the recon golden yellow.

All of the items you pictured are very nice originals.

Thanks for the responses, but what were the Panzer Nachrichten Abteilung troops in charge of? When I translated Nachrichten it meant news?

I would not bend those alu prongs (KW 40 skull) all too often. They break normally imediately.

Those skulls are just extra pieces, these aren't the same skulls attached to the tab, I would never remove a skull off of a tab.

FYI, the signals skull tab is much rarer than the recon golden yellow.

Funny, it is the complete reverse when it comes to black Panzer sidecaps. A black Panzer sidecap with golden yellow soutache is a lot rarer to find than one with a lemon signal yellow soutache.

However, all original black Panzer sidecaps with yellow soutache are very hard to find.

The Panzer Nachricten troops would be responsible for communications among the armored units. Due to the rapid movements of armored units, this would be a critical branch.
