        Very nice Chris I really like the officer upgrade from an enlisted tunic (last pic) these guy's were right in the front lines.

          Beautiful tunics

          Those are stunning tunics guys. I hope to be getting this one soon, I wasn't going to post it untill I got it but it is approriate to do so.

            Hi Glenn,

            The EM is mint, I think he hardly wore it. I missed his white jacket and a canvas like field made piece.

              Hi Chris,

              Here is an mint enlisted M36 that is in my collection as well. This was also upgraded to officer for field use. Note that the skirt has been shortend and the pockets raised to cover 2 of the 3 belt hook support holes.

                          Pionier Btl.47 Tunic

                          Originally formed as Pionier Btl.47 on 15.10.1935 in Munich as a Korps Pionier Btl. Tessin states that in 1942 it was serving with the 4 armee. In late 44 it became the I Btl. of pionier Brigade 47 with 3 companies. the 2nd Btl. was provided by Pionier Lehr Btl.2. The Brigade served under AOK 7 in the West.

                            Oberst tunic

                            Very nice 34th Pioniere tunic (and the others). You should be able to research who the owner was fairly easily with the DkiG and unit. 34th Infantry Division (parent unit) has a unit history you might want to try to get your hands on.
