      Beamte

I believe it is for a Wehrmachtbeamte (administrative official). You might be able to determine the Nebenfarbe meaning from this link:

      http://www.historicalwarmilitariafor...htbeamte-heer/

I am not sure about the white main Farbe as to its meaning; since, most officials had a shade of green for the main color. Then again, Beamten insignia is a world of its own!

My first thought was also Beamten, but I believe that the piece the arrow points to should be dark green..?..

Here a description: "A patch similar to Army officers, but with dark green waffenfarbe stripes, and nebenfarbe piping, was worn by both these services.

While a movement was made to differentiate the insignia of these two categories, it never came to fruition, and both services wore the same type of collar patch, as well as retaining the right to wear the collar patches of the einfacher Dienst on the Feldbluse."

As in the other from my collection..

Ron, I am lost here, I tried to read here: http://tacticalwargamer.com/articles...s/beamten1.htm

and in whatever books I have, but did not find anything. Maybe some of the Suter´s could be of assistance..?..

              I don't think it's III.Reich period.
My guess is that it's Imperial, possibly Veterinary Officer.
Imperial collectors would know for sure.

                tab

It is perhaps a veterinary officer tab from the Reichswehr period. Imperial vet officers wore Litzen like these on a black base cloth but with the piping around all 4 sides. I cannot find a RW image but think they might have only had piping around 3 sides.

I think they may be RH as well.

It looks TR to me. I am guessing that it is one of the lower levels of General Staff officials. I know that the high grade career level has the gold thread bumpy litzen, like regular General Staff Officers.

I wonder if it is for NCO ranks assigned to OKH/OKW. Looking at the back the braid is clearly gold. I have an example of middle elevated career for OKH/OKW but for some reason I cannot post images now even though my membership is paid up.

The NCO grades would have a 3/4 piped tab that is NCO/EM looking. This would be for the Elevated Career Level of official. Still an officer grade, but not the High Grade Career level.

                        Here is an example:

I have a tunic for a middle grade official but cannot post images now for some reason. They used gold thread.

Middle grade is a mixed NCO/Officer grade, under the Elevated Career. I would be interested in seeing the tunic. The Gold makes me think High-Grade Career.

You do not show an Association Membership anymore. That's why you cannot post.

                              Reichswehr

I looked through Kraus and Schlicht's book on the Reichswehr and could not find a match.
