    Unknown Tiger Rocket Badge

I picked up some German items the other day. They included a WW1 2nd Class Iron Cross, Merit Cross, Merit medal, two Stahlhelm badges, a Eastern Peoples Bravery Award badge. I would like to think this is the gold 1st class, comes in fitted case. Most of the gold wash has now gone, however, there are traces on the reverse with a gold flat pin and the hinge and hook are gold coloured.
The item I can not find reference to may not be German. Measures 30mm x 35mm.
Brass type metal, Looks like a Tiger, standing over a Rocket. Any ideas would be appreciated.

Pretty hard to help you without an image. Membership is cheap for the access to help and information you can get by posting images etc.

I would love to help but without seeing it, it is pretty tough. There are some German colonial awards with lions and tigers, WWII unit insignia etc.

          Hello Guys,
          Thank you for your replies.
I know I should have posted images, but I had no idea how to

I have been searching the web for days now. Even used googles image search.
It came part of a job lot I purchased.

This is unit insignia for the British Army "Bengal Rocket Troop. Know lovingly as the "wanking Tiger".

              Hello Johnny,
Thank you so kindly for the information.
Its amazing, The seller's Father was in the 8th Army (Royal Engineers).
Everything he picked up in German in '45 was German. It was all contained in a tin, left in the loft for over 50 years. I wonder how this got in there.
              Kindest regards,

              Doodles (Freddy)

They fought along with the 8th Army for most of the War in Africa and Italy so it makes sense he had it. The unit was in the BAOR when I was stationed in Germany near where I was in the later 1980s. He may have found it or traded for it etc. I picked up a bunch of odds and ends from units we served with also. Pretty normal to see.
