Hi Everybody,

I originally posted this in the Kriegsmarine Uniforms and Equipment Forum, but moderator John told me that i should post this here because there is more traffic in this part of the forum. So here we go
This piece is one of the first things i ever bought for my collection. I'm no expert in cloth pieces, but i doubt it's real. Can somebody verify this? Thanks!

Hello Steven,

I don't care for this eagle at all. The construction is not typical of the period and the gauze type backing resembles the stuff used by Patch king. The swastika looks like it was sewn in by a home sewing machine.
