I like them as well.
White wool piping is usually indicative of "earlier"manufacture.
"Grossdeutschland Fuhrerbegleit" is another possibility,
and one I would favor. (and much rarer than HG!!)

i thought so too. but without an association .................. it's just a white piped tab with a nice skull.
