    M36 Opinions?

This is supposedly an Austrian tunic that was converted to a German one after the Anschluss. Is there any evidence of this actually happening?

    Thanks!

IMO it is a fake jacket.

This type of tunic has been extensively talked about in other threads. These tunics have gone by several names such as "Mobilization Tunics" or "Economy Tunics" but the common consensus is that these tunics were WWII era tunics, produced by the British Army an used by intelligence, SAS/OSS, OPFOR and/or instructional units for training purposes. In short it is an authentic WWII tunic but produced by the Allies and valuable in its own right.

Intresting. I read that those are late stage Reichswehr jackets ( so called M33/34 )or Austrian Army pre Anschluss jackets.
