It's got a Russian property capture inventory number stamp (1944) which is a good sign...
(besides the construction and insignia being accurate).
No faker would EVER use that material...its late war ersatz!

The stamp in the other wrap shown in the link given by DonC looks to be the same.
Certainly late war "cottage industry" products...

If faked like that its because the fakers know about ersatz materials... thanks to forums such as WAF....
Call it "psychological warfare" (and made to fool) if those clown liners are in fact post war fabrications... Using something totally non text book is like
intentionally throwing up big red flags...interesting approach to fool people, as such strange combinations are not impossible at all!

In the equipment forum on the other hand anything ersatz made (put together with non textbook materials) is seen as highly exciting and very desirable...
Last ditch with weird parts! Who knows?

Here a Dutch-German tunic with added pockets, from another collector, shown before (misidentified as Osttruppen)...and a M43 cap in matching wool from a dealer!

Both examples are 1000% war time authentic and issued to Dutch guards in German service...so-called "Wachtman" troops, (which explains the forest green color...=dyed wool)
Examples of war time ersatz use of strange lining material from civilian sources...It happened without doubt...especially if foreign made, cottage industry made...
and also in Germany, they were very frugal as we know!

I still think the wraps may be costumes with stamps added. Note the two have almost identical capture stamps same construction and materials etc. So the museum had two of these? Seems more likely to me the stamps were added to post War creations.

Very few people know about these guard troops from Holland and their distinctly moss green or forest green colored uniforms...10000% authentic.
I am so confident that I have added another zero! Their uniforms were often as old as WW1 Dutch types dyed into this unique color, with modified collar and pockets
(with sometimes striped civilian liner material in the inside flaps!)...and custom made M43 caps in the same wool color...+ civilian liner material...civilian buttons...2 different caps btw!
but now I am straying a little bit off topic...
Note the dark color of the uniform (dye job) on the recruitment poster and the 2 buttons on the M43 (with civilian liner)
