    Interesting smock

    Hallo,

I've found this interesting smock a few days ago and I would like to show it to you!
There are even traces of a breast eagle on it!
It looks like this was kind of tailored made.

    Kind regards,

    Jeroen.

Nice tailor made anorak in italian camo cloth !
More an anorak as a smock ?

I like it too. looks very well made. Not up to date on zippers and if they are period or not, etc. but seems legitimate tailor made to me. Also, there were lots of troops in Florence, so maybe someone can read the stamp?

Remember the famous photos of the FJ at the Ponte Vecchio when they barricaded the bridge in front of the US advancing troops. Only bridge not blown up since it was of historic importance.

Great piece...either tailor made or field made. I agree with Nick....it's style is more along the lines of a Windbluse (anorak) than a camo smock. Plenty of Gebirgsjägers in Italy. Also, police units tended to have locally made, non-standard camo clothing.

                Drei mal Horrido!
