Hello,
This is from the estate of a deceased collector that unfortunately had a lot of repros. I think these may be original, but I'm not sure what they are for. Instead of branch of service stripes, they appear to have bullion stripes that have turned green with verdigris. Can anyone here tell me what they are?

They are original,they look like they were dark green on my screen.

Thanks Glenn, I believe you are correct. I just thought they looked like bullion that had corroded and turned green over time. Here's a couple of more photos taken in sunlight just to show the color better.

The base color was green, this is what happens to this type of braid over time with exposure to moisture.

Thanks for the confirmation. Even though they are rough, they are one of the few original items to come from this collection so that's a plus!
