A nice looking pair of early straps that are correct. Hopefully the metal insignia have left impressions for 70 years. Note that the lower or bottom edge Tresse was hand applied as the fellow rose in rank.

Yes, those are nice. Probably for a driver/aide of a higher ranked officer or staff assistant
