Opinions on these Afrikakorps, mine warning and other items please

    Hi forum

Picked these up in a lot of British items. They look genuine to me but i'm not sure what the badge is from. The mine warning pennant was new to me - you can cover it with your hand.

    As always, opinions greatly appreciated

Most outstanding original cuff title, among the best I've ever seen. All the other items are great too.

The badge is Army insignia for a Pith helmet.

        Thanks Ray and Johnny R

So a quick google suggests the badge and cuff title are related, is that right, looking at the Afrika Korps pith helmets that came up in the search results ?

The mine warning pennant is a Gasspürfähnchen or Gas Flag.

In case of need, more information about them can be found here:

            Thanks !
I did wonder about that symbol and mines but it seems to be fairly well accepted across the internet ( but then so is Man Utd so i guess....)

              Nice original AKCT & shield.

ManU are the scum of the EPL

Newcastle are the current darlings of the EPL

              Just ask Chelskie

Anyone have thoughts on values ? They're going on the E Stand. The prices of the cuff titles seems to be all over the place.

No-one should pay more than $ 150-175us for an AKCT and these can be had for alot less than that. The shield is worth $25- 30us.

                    Thanks Tim

Well it seems as though i cannot post in the Estand forum

Pith helmet shield available for £20 inc postage UK. A few pounds for postage to US / Europe
Gasspürfähnchen or Gas Flag available for £5 uk, ditto postage

Hope this adheres with forum rules. I have sold to others on here before and have a fully verified Paypal account.

You have to be an Association Member to post on the estand. $25us gets you there, and its well worth it as new member. The e-stand is the best there is. The Military Knowledge on this Forum is quite extensive and diversified.

& just who do you support in English Football ?

I know the quality of the forum - been a member for years but generally read discussions and use it for identification purposes. I've also dealt with long term members at auction houses

How do i pay the $25 ? Multi tasking at the moment so whilst it's probably very obvious...

And i support the most successful English club in European football.
