Panzer tabs with silver cord??

What do I have here?

Bought it for a reasonable price, but I have no clue what kind of tabs they are. Heer or Luftwaffe Panzer tabs with unauthorized silver cord? Or something completely different?

Hard to say. Could be also Bahn, Schaffner, Musikverein etc. - Many organizations (pre war, war and post war) wore similar tabs

They were sold like this and devices were added as noted. I found a box of these one time in Germany in the 1980s.

Perhaps the one thing they are not is Panzer tabs.

But as the shape was similar and I really haven't any clue what they could be I thought the word "Panzer" would trigger answers ...

Schuma?

Here's JohnT's officer's grade Schutzmannschaften (Schuma) tab set for comparison...
but I agree it's a long shot...(unfinished Schuma) or call it wishful thinking... oh well...
So yes probably something far less exciting...Musikverein or whatever verein related...
