Communication Patch?

Is this a communications operator patch? If so, would this have been worn by any communications specialist, or is it for specified unit?

This looks to be an original radio operator's or signal's insignia worn by enlisted and NCO personnel. The color of the Blitz signifies the type of unit, in this case pink meaning an armored unit. White would be for infantry, black for pioneer troops, etc.

Take a picture in day like without a flash, it could also be Nebelwerfer but is hard to tell in these images.

It appears to me to be a "Patch King" Blitz. The Tell tale gauze backing and the style of the blitz head.
