            Hi,

the colour looks like more police than army.

It appears to have been recolored. The dye used took to some parts of the shirt better than other parts. Giving it the look it now has. Just an opinion.

                shirt

Yet the white "37" size tag remains its normal white?

May I ask what makes You guys think that shirt is German wartime and militay issue??? Cuffs with just one button, odd cut, strange buttons and civilian size tag...I missed something?

To me is nothing more than civilian shirt, in 40's cut made from wool

IMO a simple period civilian shirt .
The tab is sometimes found on RZM shirts but not on Armed Forces issues, also ?

I think it is just a plain old civil shirt. I don't think it has been dyed.

I agree, period civilian wool shirt, shows fading from use. Still could be used under a tunic on a mannequin, in my opinion; civilian shirts were definitely worn.
