    Real Wehrmacht tunic?

    http://www.dragoonmilitaria.com/viewphoto.php?x=0

ENG WW2 German Wehrmacht infantry officer uniform jacket. Early Wehrmacht jacket, so called Reichwehr-pattern. Infantry oberleutnant jacket. Eight uniform buttons at front and slant pockets at hip. Tailor made jacket. Tailor labels inside " Paul Melchior, Kassel". Named label at inside pocket, hardly readable name. Green uniform cloth collar. Fitted with infantry tabs, which are original sewing as are shoulderboards. Breast eagle is later sewing, original chost is visible. Jacket is made from fien gabardine cloth. Belt buttons at back. Inside lining artificial silk. Dagger hanger and inside belt present inside of jacket. Former owner has most liekly been an professional NCO, promoted to officer rank. Back of collar shows traces of NCO tresse sewing. Jacket size about medium. Nice original early pattern officer jacket!

Is this real and is it worth the asking price?

It is very nice and desirable for those who like early RW/Heer transitional material.
Perhaps even worth restoring as RW with earlier lighter green backed collar tabs matching the collar color. If the eagle (stitched by hand) comes off with no noticeable damage, it would be worth leaving it off for that 1920's look. The eagle is been applied really badly so it should be removed / redone
    either way...
I wonder that the tailor tag date is?
