E Stand Heer HBT Tunic Opinions

For me the insignia's on this tunic are post war applied (same thread used on both the eagle and collar tabs) but there is no mention of it in the description..

    Your thoughts please.. http://dev.wehrmacht-awards.com/foru...d.php?t=751677

You are most likely right. Definitely not the insignia with which it came out of the factory.

So in other words you are fishing for some sucker that might believe the sewing is period done, real sad if you ask me.

That is rather disingenuous and not in the spirit of selling something as original. Failure to disclose something that has been applied postwar, and knowing so, is not how it should be done on the E-stand and likely to be against the rules if we check.

This is not a firing squad Bruno...you've posted a tunic whose insigna is not original to it and when Glenn has pointed that to you and the rest of the members you've said something that sounded like you knew that the insigna wasn't original, that you never claimed that to be and that you've posted close-up pictures for other to see that the sewing isn't period-done!Problem is that you should have been honest in the first place instead of waiting for Glenn or some other member to put this tunic up to discussion!
Bad show if you ask me
                          Best Regards

I'm sure that you've learned how to be a little more precise next time around...the fact that you offer inspection and money-back guarantee is a good thing !
