Heer Eagle

Hello all, got this eagle in a bring back group Sunday from the vets family, the eagle on the top is one I've had and just there for comparison, the lower eagle as you can see is a bit larger, never saw one like that before. Thoughts?

Hi Fritziii,
The eagle is an original wartime piece, in my opinion. It was machined to a piece of additional cloth in the manner similar to the waffenrock (dress tunic). I cannot tell for sure from these pictures if it was cut from a tunic/shirt or if that was just a backing cloth.
