I have an opportunity to purchase this tunic. Stitching looks correct to me. But I'm not sure on the insignia. Could I get some opinions on this one. And is $600 fair?

The tunic looks original to me. My only question would be the edelweiss as Iserlohn is not a Gebirgsjager town. Naturally, the soldier could be assigned to a Gebirgs unit and have come from a non-mountain town, but it does beg the question....
I think $600 is a great price, and I would add it to your collection even if the edelweiss was put on later.

Unfortunately I'm not sure this deal is real. They say if it looks to good to be true it probably is. I approached the gentleman about doing a PayPal payment to ensure my money wouldn't be lost. He told me the only payment he will accept is bank transfer. I think I may pass on this because I really don't think sending money to a guy in Poland with no information but his name is a good idea. Frustrated cause it looks like a grey tunic!Comment

I found it online. I talked to a couple other forum members. One told me he lost thousands of dollars dealing with the man. After I heard that I can't possibly send someone I don't know that much money.Comment
