Breast Eagle Help Please

Hi Guys

I already know about the bevo breast eagle

Please can you tell me if the Wehrmacht enlisted soldier wore a cloth embroidered breast eagle, Grey thread on a Field Grey Uniform Material back ground?

Would it be an Infantry Eagle or something else?

there were lots of variations to the embroidered eagles, it was a private purchase item that could be added to spruce up a tunic. I would suggest posting pics for opinion though. Is it possible: yes. Matt

Are you talking about a eagle of grey thread on a field grey wool backing? The eagles that have been posted are issue eagles on a rayon cloth material not uniform cloth. I personally have not handled a private purchase embroidered Heer eagle on field grey that I have been comfortable with.

My bad! I personally have not handled a private purchase embroidered Heer eagle on field grey WOOL that I have been comfortable with. Again, all of the eagles that have been posted are on a rayon based material, not a " Field Grey Uniform material background" as the original post asked for.
