Tropenhelm shield with interesting maker mark

Hi All,

I came across this tropenhelm shield online, and I wanted to post it because of the maker mark. I can't see any 'red lights' with the shield itself, but you don't see many with maker marks (unlike the eagle shields), and this one seems to carry a reversed maker mark attributed by some to 'Adolf Scholz'. This mark is seen on metal badges like the panzer assault badge, and I have shown the mark from the shield next to a Scholz mark from a bronze panzer assault badge.

So what do you think, guys? Have you seen this mark on national shields before? Does it look okay to you?

I have the same shield that I bought because of the mark. Not sure why it has a reversed S, but I bought it on the assumption that it was also produced by Scholze. I believe I have also seen shields marked RK for Karneth as well.
