    Definitely a good one Luftwaffenkops but hard to say what type it is exactly. I know its a "4 feather variation", the only type I've seen with 4 secondary feathers in both wings as opposed to 4 on one side and 5 on the other or 5 secondary feathers on both sides which are more common designs styles.

    You can find gold or silver finished specimens of this variation both in tombac (or possibly brass) for earlier pieces and zink for the later ones which typically dont hold their finish too well but the mounting system is the same for both types. The tombac ones are heavier than their zink counterparts which is usually a clue but difficult to judge from your picts whether yours is a toned silver tombac based specimen or a zink piece. Attached is an early tombac fire gilded specimen with polished highlights from the same die and using the same hardware for comparison
