What branch are these shoulderboards?

I got these recently for display, can I get any opinions on what branch they were used for?

They look like Swedish tunic boards that have been removed from the tunic and dyed.

The most likely scenario: a foreign (Swedish) tunic that was converted to Wehrmacht for reenactors...so these were removed...but why dyed black is puzzling...
I own a foreign tunic that got the WH treatment and I want to restore it back to its original configuration...
