Looks like a textbook Gebirgsjager officers tunic with faded collartabs to me. Austrian made which fits with the GJ connection. J

It's a GJ tunic, not PzGrn. It's really a great candidate for a restoration. Would like to see more pics. It's not uncommon to see PzGrn tabs on GJ tunics and visa versa. Same goes wit shoulder boards as well. Matt

Looked through those pics and it looks to be a very nice summer weight tunic. Shame about the edelweiss being cut off the sleeve but that's an easy fix. Otherwise it looks pretty decent, it's not worth a ton of money but it's a decent tunic in need of a good restoration. Matt

              Viking,

glad you worked out a deal, sure you and said buyer are happy. Don't forget to become a Associate member on the forum here so you can sell stuff as well. I mean you must have made at least 600 bucks or so on this tunic so whats throwing 25 to the WAF to become a legit seller so you can post pics and sell items? Just saying. Matt

You stole it! Wow! Great piece to restore as a GJ officer impression.
Did you check the pockets to see if the breast eagle was present?
                Happens a lot!

He is saying if you only paid $50.00 for it you "stole" it meaning paid almost nothing for it. It is slang for getting something valuable for a fantastically low price.
