    The base tunic is original but the straps look odd and the jacket has been altered in the back. The eagle was replaced and is not the type from the factory.

            Honestly I wouldn't touch this with a 10 foot pole! the eagle in my opinion is not an original, its a embroidered eagle trying to be a 2nd model NCO flatwire bird and its not right.

            Secondly, the turnbacks in the pics posted look brown and the color isn't right so that would make it a Police waffenrock/dress tunic. Things are just not jiving, I would say its a police dress tunic for traffic (wine red pipping if im not mistaken, perhaps Dave C would comment and confirm this). But its certainly not a Heer Artillery waffenrock that I would be comfortable with. Of course thats just my opinion and take it with a grain of salt. Matt

              the boards have a pinky look to them but the collar piping looks artillery red can you take some pictures of it outside without flash so that we can get the correct colour and maybe some more pictures of the eagle

              + some buttons have been replaced (just in case no one noticed)

                It is an original issue Waffenrock but has been modified. The tails should look like this(with red piping). It may have been used as a costume etc.

                  Did this sell? I see that the link is not working.

                  The uniform pictured at the start of this thread is nothing like a waffenrock. As Matt has pointed out the cuffs and the collar are not the correct material/color for a Heer waffenrock. It looks more like a police or fireman tunic. If a waffenrock it has been terribly altered and not worth much IMO.
