Probably I should not mingle into this awkward discussion which appears to have some hidden agenda's?

All I can say is that I have gotten to know Hasse M. as a stand up guy (and the dealer he initially got the grouping from) and don't see why he should make anything up. Sorry LRRPS, just do not know you.

Do you really need to know me to see the difference? Jaegermeister posted pics of how it looks today, I have posted pics from 2006. The wrapper is original, but restored.

The grouping itself is not what I was referring to Sir, since indeed this has already been discussed.

I also do not know what Zauberflöte is referring to. I have known LRRPS for some time now and I know he has no hidden agenda here. The information was simply provided to the new owner as reference to what the tunic once looked like.

My god, I feel already sorry that I have posted in this thread. I am referring to post# 23...I find that very puzzling and hold therefore everything said beyond that post with a certain skepticism. That is what I was referring to, nothing more nothing less.

And for what it is worth, I do not know Jaegermeister either.

Please do not give it another thought, it was just a bystander observation.

Think it is time for me to make a statement.

1. The group came to us in 2007 exactly as it was when we sold it 2007 and how it was when we sold it recently.

2. (LRRPS) came visiting us the same day the group arrived and he wanted to buy it, he took it with him and went to the hotel, he wanted to pay 5000 with CC and 5000 in trade. Next day he was gone with the wind and we could not get hold of him, the day after he called me and said he would not want to go through with the purchase as he fund some info about the group and had no interest in it. This was in 2007!!!!!

So he have in fact never owned the group or ever paid anything for it.

It was said that several photos of the group was posted in a German forum where the wrapper and items where shown before it came to us. We got it from one of our German pickers.

We have not changed or made anything to it!

From the pic now provided from LRRPS (except the one from soldbuch and the size stamping which are our photos) one can see a lot of strange items. The wrapper which is on the pictures have the breast eagle and boards which came loose to us with the wrapper for instance. Was it two wrappers? I have no idea.

I cannonly state that we have not touched the group, all the loose items was obviously posted on the German forum so nothing could have been added. What was missing when we got it was the collartabs from the shown wrapper and the pz 25 badge, those had obviously dissappeared during the time it was shown in Germany till we got it.

Wrapper is a huge size as was the man, so I have no doubt it is his wrapper, it would be close to impossible to find a wrapper in this size and add to a group.

I don´t know if it was more then one wrapper or if this wrapper now sold have been played with.

The items have been sold separately as belonging to the soldier in question and not as the wrapper worn on the pic in the soldbuch as it obviously was not that one.

The post about that the awards (PZ vernichter and Pz 25) should have been added after the war is IMO noncence, there is nothing indicating this was later done and when writing was looked upon closely none who have had it in hand have ever questioned the writing.

The group was bought in 2007 by Hasse and he owned it till approx 3 month ago when he traded it back with us for some other items.

The time line is correct. And the rest of the information to (as far as I know it). I got in trade the same value as I purchased this grouping from Military Antiques of Stockholm back in 2007.

They gladly traded it back and I got a very high end item from them in trade. I have a hard time to beleive they wanted this grouping back if they dident beleive in it.

I owned this wrapper from 2007 to now. And thats a fact.

For me, it appears to be the same details, like folds lines, hence a caracteristic point of this wrap.
If the wrap shown in #1 by Jeagermeister shows this caracteristic too (with the rbnr stamp), then i would say there is only one basic wrap shown in this thread, but with different insignias applied on it.

Definitely the same tunic in both sets of pictures. But this additional info is helpful.

What would be realy helpfull is if Jaegermeister could confirm if the wrap shown in #1 is or not the same wrap with those pocket caracteristics.

I think it's the same, but I can't say for sure before I'm back home again.
