WH oberarzt..

Hello,

I recently bought this tunic; WH oberarzt with an EK II and it seems he had "something" stuck through the fabric on his left upper pocket. I believe this to be quite normal.
The tunic is in very nice condition, no moths, no damage.

good and original applied shoulderboards and collar tabs, only doubt is the eagle. It looks like originally applied, but I could never be sure.
Makers markings, original hanger for the dagger (Asmann), original buttons.

Anyone has an opinion on this eagle..?..and the tunic overall.

Thanks Adam, no the hole in the left pocket is just put through. And I guess it could be any award, woundbadge, sportsbadge or yes, maybe even EK I.

The Adler is fine. People poked holes in these during the war for medals, but also after the war. You might be able to steam the hole closed if you so wish, as long as the fabric isn't torn. Nice pick up!

It could also be a KVK first class with a screw back. Early in the War they were awarded IABs and later GABS as well.
