Hello Matt and Giancarlo!!,

Matt, I believe Giancarlo is asking specifically about the M40 Infantry shoulder boards.

I had made comment to him that I liked them. Looking at them a bit closer now I believe that these are well made reproductions. Original M40 boards of field grey with wool piping are pretty scarce to me. I would expect these to be very well made due to the time period ,1940, and being transition insignia. The shape of the boards, quality of the wool piping and the material on the tongue make me have second thoughts.

Im not a big fan of the inf. boards either for the same reasons Fred mentioned.. all the other boards looks like nice originals..

I agree they are rare with that type if pipping. They are very well done but almost too good. Matt
