Tabs are junk. Need a better straight on shot of the wreath, however I am not holding my breath. There's a good thread on preacher items, started by Chris Liontas on this forum.

I would not hold much hope for your Luft GFM tab either. Thats the one with the gold eagle

              Hi,

The Luftwaffe did not have Chaplains as I recall. I beleive they used Heer Chaplains.

The tabs pictured represent Navy Chaplain. There were 2 types but I cannot recall which version this is.

                  Hello

                  Sorry about the blunt reply.

The quality in the tabs is just not there. I have posted a couple pictures for you to compare with yours. Look at the difference in detail.......

Here is a fantastic thread on the "Navy Field Bishops Tabs" by Chris Liontas (Chris Liontass on WAF), someone who I believe is one of the most knowledgeable people when it comes to the Greman Priests in WW2. You will see your tabs there.......

                  It's over on GMIC.

Here is another thread on WAF that deals with the wreath. Check out post 56 on page 4

Thank You for the courteous responses and information on this item....it saddens me to know that these are reproductions, but the reality is that knowing now is far less painful than knowing after a sale or trade down the road......Frank Davis.
