Police + Infanterie shoulder straps?

Howdy,

Been offered a large lot of items and these are part of them. What are the striped boards? I think the 88 strap is good. What would be a fair price to offer? Thank you.

Yellow boards are an NCO of the Wasserschutzpolizei, the orange/brown boards are for the civil Gendarmerie. The board with "stripes" are for the police rank of "Meister", basically a warrant officer. Look like nice boards. The Kokarden are for officer rank police tschakos. These are widely reproduced and a view of the back would help. They look too new .

Value is in the eye of the beholder I am afraid.

I can't speak to originality, but I agree that the police boards will be difficult to place a true value on. Over the years I've seen police items bounce all over the board in terms of popularity and prices. When I first started collecting TR items while stationed in Germany 20+ years ago you could buy pretty much any police board pair you wanted for $15-20 or so and basic uniforms for anywhere from $60-200. In general, I've seen the police uniforms go much higher than that over the years, but the boards tend to remain much lower and I've often been amazed at how cheaply some really hard to find things (like the nice water police boards) have gone for. But if forced to make an estimate, I would say you'll be doing alright if you offered $25-35 for each pair, maybe a bit higher ($50-60?) for the water police boards if they really strike your fancy and you're not looking to resell them for a gain. But again, all of my numbers are simply a swag (simple wild a** guess) on my part and may be way off the mark.
