    Artillery shoulder strap?

Today I somewhat blindly picked up a shoulder strap, mostly due to price. I believe it to be real but the fact that both front and back of the board are the exact same material and color have me wondering. Pictures below.

    Thoughts?

Looks like a legit Luft Flak.

      Hello,

It looks like a nice original, early , luft, flak board to me.

Thank you gentlemen, what sets a flak board apart from artillery?

        Cheers

There is no difference, flak is short for Anti-Aircraft Artillery. In some cases a metal F will be worn above
the unit number. FAS would indicate Anti-Aircraft Artillery School of the Luftwaffe. After April 1943, Division
'Hermann Goring' shoulder strap piping was bright red as well.

The ornate letter F was worn by Fortress anti-aircraft artillery.

So the strap is certainly not field artillery like howitzers just strictly flak (aa)

I am sure the AA were trained an used as artillery units the Luft just called them AA artillery. IMO
