    Looking for mountainboots, low boots or Knobelbecher.

    Hi!
    Anyone know were to find or have for sale a nice pair of german boots for my manequinn?
    Ebay is so full of crap...
    Need gaiters aswell for the low or mountainboots. Anyone knows were to get it?

    If you mean the Wickelgamaschen that were used by the Gebirgsjaeger, I wish you luck !
    These are very, very hard to find, and I mean the 70 cm long ones that were intended for these troops.
    A nice pair of mountain boots turn up once in a while on eBay though, it's just the price ...

          Hi John,

          I believe so, at least I have three different sizes. The long ones are the standard Wehrmacht types, the short ones Gebirgsjäger. The middle ones I do not have proven facts, but judging some period pictures, these were sometimes worn by Gebirgsjäger when wearing the Wickelgamaschen a bit higher over the anckles.
