Hi John,

Is the cap eagle supposed to be a t-shaped one ? Could you post a picture of the backside ? From what I see in this picture, I don't like the cap eagle ... The cloth seems too thick and the proportions are not what I would like them to be.

What makes you think I'm disappointed? That's kind of an odd thing to say...

I'll defer to your opinion on the SS eagle as I don't collect them but will stand by mine on the others. Perhaps they are real and I'll learn something new...

In any event, I'm not disappointed or happy, simply ambivalent at this point.

You must know if saw these eagle,s without the backing and the prove they came with and the comparising
I aslo would say no good
And Drew I think what fackes you compared them with also that weird body-shape
But still not detailed as these ones
Also the stitching of these fackes are really POOH
You know how time-period piece,s were made

No hard feelings at all. My English isn't too good at times, either!

Let me explain a bit as to why I stated I don't feel comfortable with these eagles. On the two army breast eagles, the loose stitching across the tops of the wings is very similar/same to many repros I've seen as is the stiching pattern on one of the crossed arms of the swastika. The bodies and heads are also a bit oddly shaped. If they are real, then I've learned something new. At any rate, they are definitely made by the same manufacturer.

The army cap eagle is entirely shaped like no other eagle I've seen. There are a lot of points to note about it, but one thing that leaps out at me is the black around the cockade. It's done rather poorly.

I would like to feel the base cloth they are on but that's obviously not possible.

Again, at this point in time I would state that I don't care for these army eagles. I'm more than willing to be educated, though, and certainly have an open mind about them.
