    M43 for comments

    Want to show this M43 tunic for comments. Couple of my remarks before you start:

    1. Tunic is very little worn, probably used for walking out purpose;
    2. Original factory applied litzen are still present under “pimped” ones;
    3. Edges of lower pockets there sewn to body probably to give it more slim shape;
    4. Collar was replaced from more used tunic. I think it was done due to NCO tresse. Perhaps for tailor was easier to change collar instead of attaching tresse.
    5. Original eagle replaced with “pimped” one. Traces of original factory applied eagle still can be seen on lining.

    Currently I am considering if it’s worth to keep or to let it go.

                  Personally me have no doubts regarding tunic itself. It’s original tunic with “pimped” collar tabs over original ones and “pimped” national emblem instead of factory applied. As I wrote earlier collar is replaced from another tunic. My theory regarding this is that it was done due to NCO tresse or maybe “pimped” collar tabs. Perhaps NCO liked look of his old tunic and wanted to keep it on new one. Otherwise I see no sense why to apply more worn collar to little worn tunic. BTW shoulder boards tresse and NCO tresse on collar are obviously attached by same tailor. So probably he kept not only collar but also shoulder boards from old tunic.

                  Than I asked for comments I was expecting comments regarding condition but of course all opinions are welcome.

                    Would you mind to share a few more photos (without flash but with natural light)?
                    I have a M42 tunic with a collar in a different shade than the jacket - so this matter doesn't bother me by your tunic.

                    Thank you in advance.

                    Cheers,

                      Imo original tunic. What kind of doubts do you have, Luca?

                        Maybe just the pictures, I also would like to see some pictures with natural light.

                          I will try to make more photos during weekend. Do not have time for that during working days. Thanks for comments.
