    Panzer Skulls question

    Hi all,
I wonder if anyone can give some advice please.

I am desperate to buy a good pair of Panzer Skulls and have found a dealer selling some that look good but am unsure on a point concerning the tabs. I've checked some of the threads on here and can't find an answer so apologies if there is a answer here somewhere !

I can't post a picture as its copyrighted but to me the skulls themselves look good. The tabs are in positions at 2, 6 and 10 o clock and have not been folded over but the description says they have never been mounted and appear to be ex stores. They end of the tabs are rounded and therefore are not sharp pointed. They also extend from the very edge of the skull.

I appreciate its a bit of a vague description but was wondering if anyone knew of the tabs being constructed this way? I'm pretty sure from research that the skull pattern itself looks genuine. It's just the rounded ends of the tabs I'm unsure about.

The dealer is reputable and I've bought items of them before I know is genuine. They also offer a return policy but would appreciate an expert opinion before I buy.

Any help is very much appreciated.

They do look a lot like the skulls in the top picture actually. The dealer is Jamie Cross Militaria. His website is thirdreichmedals.com and item numbers are M179, M181 and M1132. They are found from the "THIRD REICH INSIGNIA Cloth and metal" link on the left and then selecting "Army Insignia". He has quite a few right at the bottom of the page.

If anyone could take the time to have a look and comment on their authenticity I would be very much grateful although not holding out much hope now due to the picture posted earlier.
