Guys, unfortunately it was never mine, but I had the luxury of handling it many times. It is part of the Bodo Spranz grouping, straight from the family. It even had a smoked sigaret butt in the pocket. The group included his RK with Oak leaves which he got on the same day. It has always been my dream tunic, just could not afford it. J

Here is mine, only one but no doubt whatsoever in my mind that it's a 100 % originally applied. The badge is sunken into the tunic and the stitching is old and sunken as well. The Kuban shield is the same. An indirect family pick up that the medals are supposed to be the original ones to the tunic as well, but no way to prove that. Interestly when you remove the medals the fabric is worn where the backs of the medals protrude into it. Regards, BillAttached Files

Jeez Bill this is one of the nicest M43's I have laid eyes on with a nice worn look and the late M44 style eagle applied! have you previously shown this on the forum and if so can you post a link? If not I think it as well as the other tunics in this thread need a thread of their own showing them in all their glory!
Great stuff Guy's!
