please identify. pretty sure it's a Heer piece but as always, not completely so.

Greetings All,

Hello SP3, This is a piece of Heer insignia. It is called a signal blitz and showed that the individual had a communications rating. The color of the lightning bolt corresponded with the wearers branch of service, or the piping on his shoulder boards.

it is very slightly darker (red/pink) in real life than on the monitor but only just. looks faded red to me but if there was a lighter colored version, it could be that I guess. the front and back are the same shade in real life, so not sun faded, if that is a clue.
