    WWII German OST Service Armband

Hello, I do have a question about the WWII German OST Service Armband. Was that armband for the soldiers on the eastern front, or just any personnel? Can someone please clarify who would have gotten this armband.

    Thank you.

The blue patches with the lettering "OST" were worn by civilian laborers from the East working in Germany. I haven't seen this as an armband, can you supply a photo?

A Google search yielded a result for one presumably fantasy armband on the site of a well-known dealer of fakes (Snyder). I hope this is not the piece you are enquiring about.

Yeah, I believe Snyder has a pic of one. I have also seen other "dealers" sell them. Just wondering if they a real thing or not and info on them.

The Ostarbeiter patch was to be worn on the outer garments of these civilian laborers for control purposes. I haven't seen any evidence that this badge was ever worn as an armband.
