    insignia and tabs, opinions















    Hello guys, I would like to know your opinion about sewing for insignia and tabs on m36 jacket.

      thanks derka, what makes you think that this is a work of restoration?
      the color of the wire? or are there signs that distinguish it as such?

        Alex, if you have it in hands, maybe you can check, i think there are signs of previous stiching of another colar tab at the reverse of the colar.



        and for the eagle, i don't like color of thread used to stich it, and i don't like zigzag stiching for eagles on M36 tunics, seldomly seen before 1940 imo.

          I agree, restoration or reapplied job.
          I thinks that the eagle and collar tabs are very new compared with the tunic wear.
