    Please opinions about 1936 Feldbluse

    Hello to everyone,

May I have your opinions about this Feldbluse ?

I have no worries about its authenticity, I only have a few points for which I would like to share with you.

1- Breast eagle background color seems odd as compared to such early eagles I am used to ?

2- Collar tabs, apparently period resewn without its base => does this makes the jacket significantly less desirable ?

3- Heavy repairs at both elbows, heavy use damages at the bottom part of the jacket to be considered for the price. Are 1090 EUR (=$ 1400) a fair price ? I personnaly think it is too high. What about you ?

Thanks a lot in advance for your help.

    Best Regards,

          Tunic

Its a real tunic which by today's standands is somewhat already a feat in it self. My opinion is that it is a pow tunic. The insignia has been re applied as they have told you. And usually they were stripped according to different degrees of ferocity by the victors. Best "preserved" or respected were by American captors. Worst by Russian or French.

I don't like the tongues of the straps.

Is it too expensive , yes.
Do you want a real "shell"? If so how bad?
Make a lower offer, It falls nice, the cut is right on.

            Nice repaired M36 feldbluse.

I agree with post war insignia applied.

            Reasonable price

Insignia obviously reapplied, probably worn as a POW or work jacket after the war. Value around $1000 in my opinion.

Thanks a lot for your opinions. I really appreciate your help. I think I will pass and wait for another opportunity. Too many drawbacks.

I agree the insignia has been replaced,

As for the eagle colour, it appears on my monitor to be a correct m36 eagle(white eagle on dark green background), which would be correct for this tunic.

Correct eagle and insignia, but agree with the others on their re-application. Still a nice looking lot, but the price is indeed a little high.
