Aserbaidschan Officer Foreign Volunteer Shoulder Boards

Hi guys .

I would like to discuss here very interesting couple of Aserbaidschan Officer Foreign Volunteer Shoulder Boards.
They are a nice - and fully matching,made at the factory, material, loops for the buttons, colors , they are little shabby but weren't use .
I have questions, because i can not find any information about this Shoulder Boards on sites. ( sorry for my English,it is my second language).

How come Officer Shoulder Boards did made of the same material like Shoulder Boards for Eastern regular soldiers ? Also on the photos of Eastern Officer Legioners , the Shoulder Boards are more narrow and more thick than my Shoulder Boards. I saw such Boards of Eastern Officer Boards only few times and dont know about them a lot info .I will appreciate and will be happy to hear any opinions and information about my question and about my Azerbaidschan Shoulder Boards as well.

I do not know why they used the material they did, so can't answer that question for you. But they are original boards for sure. Here are two that I have. Same construction as yours.

If look at attritions then they look like from same box Have you ever met Shoulder Boards with same sewing but another eastern groups and with other colors? Is it normal that for shoulder boards band used cord like for forage-cap?

Yes I think it is probable that the same company made the shoulderboards in these and also other branch colors. Many firms made these and will have different characteristics, but I would say yours and mine came from the same producer.
I would say it is normal for the producer to use soutache material for the center officer band down the middle. I have a poa officer board with the same soutache material in the middle.

The construction on these boards looks spot on. I would expect to see the soustache trim used on these, but I have seen other material used as well.

Thank you all for seeing my topic.
I want to show the other shoulder boards shown me by a Russian collector( i upload this pics for my topic with his permission).
This shoulder board made of the same material like for ordinary soldiers. But he has a few differences which i show by arrows. It have more broad band, a sharp corner on the valve and the inner lining is made of different pieces of material. As we know that usual the inner lining of Eastern Volunteer Shoulder Boards was made by stitched together material for savings tissues. On my Boards and Galizien41 Boards it is different, is it normal ?
