Hi guys,
I wasn't sure if I should have posted this in the Civil/Political forum, or this one because I am confused as to who this armband belonged to. To me it looks like the standard German medic armband, but the stamp has me confused. It says "Kommissar der Freiwilligen Krankenpflege," which I think roughly translates to "Commissar of the volunteer nurses," if I'm not mistaken.
Does anyone know who this armband would have belonged to? Female, or Male? Army, or German Red Cross?
Thank you!
