    Hi to all,

    Am I paranoid ?
Could you share your opinion about this tab sewn on a guenine M36 jacket?

Do you have photos of the back side as well? Both sides of both tabs would be helpful.

      Hello,

Like it said before, the tabs are sewn..so, not possible to check the back.

Yes, the backside frequently - but not always - shows if they are a replacement. Usually best to view outside in direct sunlight.

Thx to all for your answers,
My question is not about the period application or not of the tab, but about the authenticity about the litzen itself !

              Alex,

those tabs are not what i expect to see for this pattern.

The application also does not look factory done, these were also applied at unit level but the application is usually more tidy. The litzen are sewn to the bottle green wool the way it was done in WWII butI cannot comment on the litzen themselves being original.

                  Greetings All,

Alex, Here are some examples that I have. I have seen some quality repro collartabs but the grey color seems to be lighter than the originals. I cannot post photos at the moment. Please give me your emil address and I will send some pictures.
