The lining looks to be rayon (I think) in a charcoal grey but this could have resulted from the jacket being dyed post war (black maybe) and then perhaps bleached to try and remove the dye.

I think I know who probably owned this one at one time if Time Traveller had it.

The one Steve had I think was different, but he had a lot of odd very salty tunics like this. I remember the one at Time Traveler from him and I do not think it had added fabric at the bottom but maybe I am wrong buddy kissy kins

Out of interest, I bought this tunic from Time traveller Militaria, (that's not meant as any proof that it's genuine) Buddy.
Hello 12thPanzer old buddy old Pal! in this thread we are not throwing mud or more importantly calling any one names! Your response looked to be one of surprise and confusion? perhaps the above quote will shed light on the post signed off with "buddy kissy kins"

Hope this was helpful? do you have an opinion on the subject of this thread? I would love to hear it as I respect your opinions and talent at colorizing B&W photos Old Buddy!

I can shed light on the adjectives I posted- the sales description was not as stated. "looks like" does not involve a brainstem stroke read it again. More kisses and hugs her from reality-
