A heer uniform but no idea what I have here? HELP?

This tunic came with a bunch of other items in an auction I bid on. This was at the bottom of the heep, nicely folded in a bag. There are things I like about it and then there are things I question, so if ya all could help me out with authenticity, I would appreciate it.

It has a chance, but need larger photos, photos of the inside so we can see the constructino details, and close-ups of the insignia, pockets, buttonholes, back of collar, sleeve cuffs, etc. to be able to make a judgement.

            Hello,

That looks like a fine tailored tunic but we can't tell you anything with small pictures like these.

And to help you with what you might have: Non textbook private purchased tunic for the southern front for a gebirgsjäger (mountain) regiment. In this case GJR98

                Gentlemen.....
I have taken some more photos. I did my best with the instructions I was given of what to photograph. Any information would be helpful. Like I said this was in a pile of items I purchased at auction. Some of the items were original items and then there were a couple of badges in there that were obvious reproductions.

                Thank you and God bless

Insignia are all good. And I'm not a DAK expert but I believe the jacket is good aswel. Never saw that 'cut' before but the cloth and stampings make me believe it's ok. Very nice tunic!

Wow. I had no idea. Thank you for your comments

I just happen to be there at the right time and right place in this auction. I was able to pick up 2 mint heer belts with buckles! A nice Luftwaffe side cap, some jack boots size 9 or 10 I think. A Giant party flag, looks like the ones they hung vertical from Official Offices. Its faded as it should be, but no holes or tears and the top of the flag as excellent binding and fastners for easy mounting. I also got a extremely nice Luftwaffe leather flight helmet. There are not any markings on it, but it sure does look authentic. I might put it up on the Soft Caps forum.
Thanks Again! You made my day...

Would like to add that the GJR98 served in Greece from 1943 untill 1944 so it would make sence that this is a tropical tunic, dated 1943.
