Just received these insignia (with some buttons, chin cords etc...) supposedly from one officer. I don't have the slightest doubt that the entire grouping is original but I have no clue what organisation/branch these boards are for.
They look like regular Hauptmann's boards though they are much smaller (similar to Kriegsmarine Fähnrich). The Waffenfarbe is light grey (it doesn't appear to be faded blue either). Even the collar tabs show the grey branch color. Any clue???

now that was quick and a route I hadn't considered at all! This would basically also mean that these are probably not from the same man (please excuse my ignorance but I'm not really familiar with the DRK, just know the had different tabs).
