Nice looking very early tunic. With no Wiederholungsspange on the ribbon bar, I would suggest that a 1914 EK1 would be more appropriate, and perhaps a WWI wound badge as well.

                Beautiful tunic!

I agree Chris! A nice WW1 WB and EK1 would go nicely. I also think that a nice DRL or SA sports badge would also be appropriate for this pre war tunic. I would most likely pick the SA badge, as it seem as if it would fit the loops better.

Very nice tunic, he kept the RH light green collar which is rare to see most were replaced. These were worn well into the War, you can put basically any awards on there you want but I agree he would most likely have had WWI Service probably as a Lt. or Hauptmann.

The tunic is a good one, but I'm shure the boards did not fit to the rest of the tunic. They are much more newer. Look to the condition.

It can be tough to judge insignia wear when looking at flash photography, the flash can make things look brighter than they really are. There is also the possibility that this jacket was worn for years by a Leutnant or Hauptmann who was later promoted and new boards installed to match the new rank.

                          boards

hi guys ,thank you for the kind comments !
the boards are indeed very difficult to photograph ,imo they belong to the tunic wich is also supermint . and even if they where changed it is done perfect .
the overall condition of the tunic is very good ,so i think everything belongs together .
                          greetings ,Jo

This is a similar named tunic where the officer wore the tunic from the 1920s on and just upgraded his rank leaving the collar and tabs in the late 20s configuration and adding an eagle after the creation of the WH. I would suspect on your tunic probably everything- even the ribbon bar given the awards and the Unit which was fairly close to Bremen probably are original.
