Different Insignia for review

Hello Folks,

I bought a small lot of insignia and from the following insignia I do'nt know what they are for.

The Luftwaffe Chevron is clear of course.
What are the chevrons wichout backing material for? I did found some topics on the forum, one telling that they are very early Reichsheer and one telling they are late-war to save material. I think the last option would make sence, someone who can confirm what they are?

The collar tabs and the single shoulderboard are both uknown to me.

The chevrons without backing are just an early style. Perfectly legit.

Jim, the collar tabs looks like they could be foreign volunteer. It is not a common style, but tress or soustache piping are used to denote rank for some volunteers. Red is not a common color for the base, but is used by some outfits as trim.

Just a possibility.

I think that is a good possibility

In the meantime I've found out about the shoulder board myself, this one is ment for a DRK Hauptführer.

If there is someone who knows more about the tabs, opinions are still welcome.
